2018 — The Beginning
Filmed stupid videos with my brothers and friends at home. No clue what we were doing. They were terrible. But that was the start of everything. Maybe I'll let you watch them when we become friends.
May 2022 — Yaw Pyor
Built a gaming content channel from scratch with my friend Jazz. Storytelling, flashy edits, chaotic comedy — and somehow it worked. Consistent 30K views per video. Peak at 64.9K. Sold merch and host tournaments too. Zero budget. Zero experience. All results.
Nov 2022 — Corporate Life
Needed money. Needed structure. Needed to stop gaming all day. Ended up in marketing — still editing, still creating, just with a salary this time. Yaw Pyor kept running on the side.
Mar 2024 — 8-Bit Creative
Got bored with corporate faster than expected. Started a digital marketing agency with Jazz. The name was pretty sick. We had leads. We had momentum. Then life had other plans.
Apr 2024 — Thailand
One month after launching the agency, we moved to Bangkok. New country. New pressure. Full survival mode.
May 2024 — Shutting It Down
Tried running Yaw Pyor and 8-Bit remotely while job hunting in a new country and mentally preparing for a war back home. Something had to give. We shut it all down.
July 2024 — Koh Samui
Moved to Koh Samui. Started grinding. At one point I was running on 22-hour workdays. Most people only see the results. Very few see the chaos in the middle.
Jun 2025 — Work in Progress by Jake
Started building my personal brand. Not as an agency. Not as a fake entrepreneur guru. Just me — building publicly, on purpose, long-term.
Jun 2026 — This Website
One year in. Here's where things stand: Full-time job. Freelance clients. People working with me. Systems I built myself. A life that's actually moving forward. Still nowhere near the finish line though. This is only the beginning.
